A WARM WELCOME TO LA GREZE
La Gréze is located near the beautiful old village of Castelnau de Montmiral in the Tarn.Set in 17 acres of orchid studded meadows and woodland, there are glorious views across the valley to the village and the rolling hills of the Foret de Gresigne beyond.
The “grange” at La Greze has been converted into two luxury gites, one sleeping 2 people the other up to 4, but the gites can be connected to accommodate parties of up to 6 people. Each has a private patio so you can dine out without feeling that you have to be sociable with your neighbours.
There is a large (12m by 6m) saline pool for the use of our guests, many of whom have said that it is the most beautifully situated pool they have ever seen.
When we converted the "grange" into 2 gites we tried to use our own experiences of staying in gites over the years and incorporate the best and avoid the mistakes of others. If you are looking for old world charm, complete with the usual drafts, dust and cobwebs, then you will be disappointed. If you are looking for comfort, functionality, all (or at least most) mod. cons., peace and quiet, with stunning views, then this is place for you.
We offer a warm welcome to all our guests. Our house is 50 meters away, close enough that we are on hand when you need us but far enough away that you will feel you have your own private space. You will often see us around as we tend the grounds, but the only time we will intrude is when we come to the pool to take a well earned dip at the end of the day. On the other hand, if you need information about where to go, what to do, or just fancy a bit of company, we're always open to a chat.
